Tell about yourself a little bit… How did you become a photographer?

I was eleven when my dad once showed me a photograph of a ship appearing as minuscule as a dot against a massive glacier. He pointed to the ship and said, ‘Look, how insignificant we are.’ Since then I took mental photographs until he gave me a small Minolta Digicam at the age of 17.
