We used to publish Docu Magazines for several years without making any profit. When someone purchased a copy, we didn’t earn a penny.

The reason this was possible is that our ebook sales covered all the expenses. The more people purchased ebooks, the more we could publish print magazines without making a profit.

Now, we’re hitting pause on ebook production and going all-in on print.

This means the print publications have to make a profit in order to keep this project alive and running.

All special edition issues of Docu Magazine published after 2023 will be affected by this change, unless stated otherwise.

However, all already published issues (before 2024) of Docu Magazines will remain the same, unaffected by this change.

I believe it’s the right move for the project’s long-term sustainability.
