Tell about yourself a little bit… How did you become a photographer?

My name is Court Richards and I’m an Australian that has been living and working abroad for the last 20 years. About 10 years ago I bought my first DSLR and clumsily worked my way through every style of photography never really developing anything that could be considered an individual style. In 2018 I found myself unexpectedly living in the heart of Paris. As I explored the historic streets, museums and galleries I was quickly drawn to the grainy black and white street photography that portrayed the city and its people with such simple grace and freedom. I immediately fell in love and dove head first into the world of street photography. Now I can’t imagine a world where I’m not aware of the simple beauty and moments that surround us every day as we go about our lives.
