My name is Beatrix Häfke and my instrument for photography is my eyes. Sometimes they see well and sometimes not so well. But I always photograph with my heart and with my feeling. For me there is no such thing as perfection. Photography is art and for me the art is about bringing out details that are hidden from other people. For me photography is versatility, trying things out, learning and evolving.I am self-taught and learn through observation, practice and the help of other photographers. I am not a theorist but more of a practitioner. For me photography is an art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place.
