A selection of abandoned vehicles, photographed in Europe, 2022 – 2024.
My photography practice centres on the once inhabited, liminal spaces that we find here and there in our communities. These may include homes, workplaces and forms of transport.
Within these places, I seek to capture the decay, traces of past lives, and their transformation by natural elements.
Inherent themes in my work are nostalgia, reminiscence and transience and my overall aim to celebrate the elegiac nature of my subject matter.
