I arrived in spring 2022, it was noisy and dirty, but Naples was calling.
So I set off in search of something special about the city. They talked about the best pizza, lots of graffiti, the mafia, the blood miracle of San Gennaro and Naples’ underground. Exciting!
The unique joie de vivre that the Neapolitans are said to have must have been tempered somewhat by Corona. Nevertheless, I met some wonderful people and I’ll be back when ‘Napoli is calling’.
