When walking in this city, you often see the collision between tradition and modernity, and you often have the illusion of traveling through history and the future. Beijing is not only home to aborigines, but also to migrant population of 8 million. People come here every day and people leave here every day. This city has a unique culture, customs, and lifestyle. There are many things here that have not changed in hundreds of years, but there are also many things that are changing every day.
I was born, raised, married, and had child here. Maybe one day I will leave here, but this will always be my home, identity, and belonging. This special edition tells you stories about Beijing through photos.
