I visited India for the first time in 2022 and was immediately struck by how different it is to my preconceived notions. Yes, India is chaotic and there’s so much social disparity, but there is also more hope, grit, pride, and peace amongst the chaos than anywhere else in the world I’ve been. I’ve spoken to every person you’re about to meet in this magazine and they have opened my mind and shown me a new perspective to life – that it is not about the haves and have nots, but it is more important to live in the now, celebrate all your wins regardless of how small they are, and find joy and contentment in the everyday.
