The photo selection on the following pages was produced in 2022-2024, while travelling in Europe. You will see glimpses of Amsterdam, Bergerac, Berlin, Paris, Porto, and the far eastern rural area of Germany.
While these cities and landscapes are each other’s opposites in many regards, they are united in their ability of providing a space where individuals can work, relax, interact with their surroundings — and take photographs.
As a visual artist, I have always been interested in manipulating (escaping?) reality: deforming shapes, saturating colours, tilting perspectives, changing meanings.
Some of that can be found in the photographs in this Docu special edition.
