My name is Lar Gilmartin, and I’m from the Republic of Ireland. I got into photography after being forced into early retirement due to an injury. I started from scratch, knowing nothing about the art, and through time, patience, and plenty of mistakes, I’m learning every day in the hope of bettering my photography! I have no particular genre, I just love being able to capture that which happens to present itself in front of me! Carry your camera everywhere, even if its just your phone, because you never know what treasures will present themselves to you!
