A tinge of Orange; an ascension into light and colour’ is the work of Australian photographer Peter Rietdyk.
Peter began his photography journey in 2020, just weeks before the COVID pandemic struck. Using his Dutch heritage as inspiration, he began posting his photos and observations to Orangelivingart on Instagram.
The ascension into light and colour is a reflection of the inspiration that light and colour brings to our lives. It inspires, it lifts us beyond the dullness and grey of everyday.
It also energises Peter to look for light and colour following his diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. ‘Despite my diagnosis, I prefer to focus on the joy that light and colour brings to my life. Hopefully, it’s evident in my work.
