WHO do I see in the city? For me, a street picture without a person feels incomplete. And WHAT do I see, what stands out?
That’s what I wanted to capture with this set of images made in several European cities.
I always look for places where light meets life.
Images in black and white to emphasise the light, the shadows and the isolated person(s). And further highlighting the buildings, structures, and shapes.
As a photographer, I don’t always have to show everything. Things are allowed to be unclear or remain invisible. As a viewer, use your own interpretation, imagination, and fantasy to add to the visual story.
