Pénélope Zanassi

I’m Penelope Zanassi. I’m 20 and I’m a french photographer based in Paris. I started taking photos a little over two years ago with my grandpa’s film camera. I mostly take photos of random things for their forces lignes. But I also like to take photos of my friends in holidays or make them pose for me. Because I’m still a beginner, I don’t really have a concrete project yet but my style is starting to be defined. I like to put name objects and people on the same level of equality, giving them personality for the firsts and making them subjects more than people posing for the seconds. I like to turn them into silhouettes and hide their faces or blur them. But my greatest interest remains sources of light, particularly artificial ones.
