Ünal Günofan

Ünal is a street photographer whose work arises primarily from his intuition. He captures moments and narratives that reflect the heartbeat of life on the street. With a keen eye for detail, Ünal explores a variety of social issues and creates visual stories. He does not see photography as a commercial pursuit, but as a pure art form through which he can express himself. For him, photography is a deeply fulfilling endeavour, driven by personal passion rather than the desire to win competitions or gain recognition. Every day he challenges himself to create honest images that come straight from his heart. 

Ünal is particularly moved by the invisible and marginalised people in society. He sees the people who are often overlooked and strives to bring their stories to the forefront. In addition to his personal projects, Ünal volunteers for NGOs and uses his photography skills to support their work. His images play a crucial role in raising funds and awareness for these organisations, helping to shed light on the lives of those in need. Through his work, Ünal hopes to create empathy and understanding and remind us all of the value and dignity of every human being.
